The crew was relaxed, the route was interesting, and the printed card with the landmarks was a nice touch — genuinely useful rather than just decorative. We'll be back for the fishing day.

I only had two days in Singapore and spent half of one of them on this boat. No regrets. The harbour from the water is a completely different thing — the scale of everything reads differently when you're looking up at it from the channel. Small group, attentive crew. Would fit into a short trip easily.

The fishing side was good fun, the lunch was better than expected, and the return route past Sentosa made for a decent end to the day. The only thing I'd flag is to bring more sunscreen than you think you need.

Kusu Island was somewhere I'd read about but assumed was just a ferry stop — it's quite different when you come in from the water and aren't on a schedule. The stargazing on the fly-bridge the second night was the most unexpectedly good part. Singapore's light pollution isn't as bad out there as I expected.

The Situation
A financial firm based at Marina One wanted something different for a client visit — a way to show Singapore that wasn't a standard rooftop dinner or a restaurant booking at a hotel.
What They Did
Booked a ninety-minute harbour cruise for eleven people, mid-afternoon on a Thursday. The crew handled the welcome and kept the experience professional without being stiff. Drinks and the route card added a sense of occasion without theatrics.
How It Landed
The client group, who had visited Singapore four times previously, commented that it was the first time they'd felt like they understood the geography of the city. The firm repeated the booking six weeks later for a different client group.
The Situation
A family of four — two adults, two teenagers — wanted to spend a full day outdoors without being at a theme park or a mall. The parents had fished occasionally in their youth; the teenagers hadn't at all.
