We did the harbour cruise for my husband's birthday. He's lived in Singapore his whole life and had never been out on the bay like that. The crew was relaxed, the route was interesting, and the printed card with the landmarks was a nice touch — genuinely useful rather than just decorative. We'll be back for the fishing day.

Visiting from Melbourne

I only had two days in Singapore and spent half of one of them on this boat. No regrets. The harbour from the water is a completely different thing — the scale of everything reads differently when you're looking up at it from the channel. Small group, attentive crew. Would fit into a short trip easily.

Booked the fishing day for a group of eight friends — a mix of people who fish seriously and people who had never held a rod in their life. The crew handled both types well. The fishing side was good fun, the lunch was better than expected, and the return route past Sentosa made for a decent end to the day. The only thing I'd flag is to bring more sunscreen than you think you need.

Three nights on the southern archipelago with my partner and two friends. It sounds like a lot but the pace is slow enough that it doesn't feel rushed. St. John's Island was the highlight for us — we swam in the morning when it was quiet and had the beach to ourselves for about an hour. Rafael's cooking was genuinely impressive given he's working with a galley kitchen. The crew gave us space when we wanted it and were around when we needed something.

We brought our kids — ten and twelve years old — on the fishing day. I wasn't sure how they'd handle a full seven hours but they were fine. The crew kept them involved in the fishing without making it feel like babysitting. The younger one caught a snapper, which became the main topic of conversation for the rest of the week. Dietary restrictions weren't an issue at all; the crew had already sorted it before we arrived.

Visiting from Mumbai

Extended stay in Singapore, did the archipelago trip with a small group. Kusu Island was somewhere I'd read about but assumed was just a ferry stop — it's quite different when you come in from the water and aren't on a schedule. The stargazing on the fly-bridge the second night was the most unexpectedly good part. Singapore's light pollution isn't as bad out there as I expected.

Success Stories

Three Trips, in More Detail

A closer look at how different groups have approached the charters.

Case Study 01 Harbour Sightseeing Cruise

The Situation

A financial firm based at Marina One wanted something different for a client visit — a way to show Singapore that wasn't a standard rooftop dinner or a restaurant booking at a hotel.

What They Did

Booked a ninety-minute harbour cruise for eleven people, mid-afternoon on a Thursday. The crew handled the welcome and kept the experience professional without being stiff. Drinks and the route card added a sense of occasion without theatrics.

How It Landed

The client group, who had visited Singapore four times previously, commented that it was the first time they'd felt like they understood the geography of the city. The firm repeated the booking six weeks later for a different client group.

Case Study 02 Day Fishing and Sail

The Situation

A family of four — two adults, two teenagers — wanted to spend a full day outdoors without being at a theme park or a mall. The parents had fished occasionally in their youth; the teenagers hadn't at all.

What They Did

The fishing day, departing at 8am. The crew quickly worked out which members of the group wanted active guidance and which wanted to figure things out themselves, and adjusted accordingly. A grouper was caught before noon.

How It Landed

Both teenagers engaged more than anyone expected. One asked the skipper about how the sonar worked. They returned the following year and booked the archipelago trip — a longer commitment that showed the initial day had left a good impression.

Case Study 03 Three-Day Archipelago Trip

The Situation

Three couples, all Singapore residents, looking for a short trip that didn't involve airports. They'd considered Bintan and Tioman but wanted something that felt more self-contained and less logistically complicated.

What They Did

The three-day archipelago trip with a week's advance notice. Dietary needs across the group included vegetarian and one shellfish allergy; both were handled without difficulty. The second day involved an unscheduled stop at a quiet anchorage the crew knew from previous voyages.

How It Landed

All three couples have returned for at least one additional charter. Two referred colleagues who booked independently. The group's consensus was that the trip had reset their sense of how close the islands actually are — and how different the pace out there feels.
